Hero Balancer
Redesigning their website to make it futureproof
Redesign • Brand update • Responsive wedesign
Redesign • Brand update • Responsive wedesign
The project
Hero Balancer’s website needed a redesign because the company had a different scope and had grown significantly compared to a few years back. During this project I was responsible for adjusting their brand to fit the new website, designing responsive pages with input provided by their marketeer and copy writer, and fine-tuning the designs with feedback from everybody in the company. The result was a complete redesign of all the main pages of the website and designs for content components they could re-use for other pages they want to add by themselves in the future.
About Hero Balancer
Hero Balancer, founded in 2017, makes existing large-scale heating installations in, for example, schools, showrooms, or offices smarter. By controlling the heating more efficiently using their software, a building can save up to 40% in energy consumption. As a result, the energy bill is lower. Also, it is good for the environment: less CO2 is emitted. And with their app people maintain a grip on their indoor climate, and can adjust it on demand.
The new website
Hero Balancer had grown significantly while their existing website was live. They had more clients than ever, and their business scope had changed because they were not only focussing on people living or working in a building anymore, but also on technicians maintaining the heating system in a building. They can make them smart with Hero Balancer. Both of these people land on the same homepage, so the the new design functions as an entry point for both people living in a building and technicians.
The about page is the key in telling about the passionate people behind Hero Balancer. It's also the perfect place for potential customers to gain more trust in the company because the about page is the place to find out more about the people behind the company. Also, for people looking for a job at the company it's the entry point to the job openings page on the website.
To keep the network of Hero Balancer updated about the latest developments around the company, I designed a reusable template for their news feed. In this way, the articles they publish are always pleasant to read.
